Services

HOA, following guidelines of the Older Americans Act, seeks to provide services to those persons over the age of 60, home bound and unable to adequately maintain a healthy existence. Services will be identified through a client survey. Targeted services will also be identified through public awareness as well as through referrals.

NUTRITION SERVICES

  • CONGREGATE MEALS: Hot, nutritionally balanced meals are served five days per week at designated locations to those senior citizens over the age of 60 who are not home bound. Meals are provided at noon each day without regard to finances and are at no stated cost. The participants are encouraged to donate for the service if they are able.

  • HOME-DELIVERED MEALS: Hot, nutritionally balanced meals are served five days per week to those home bound seniors. These seniors are over 60 and lack the ability to adequately prepare a noon meal. They have a disability that causes them to become home bound. Meals are provided without stated cost, but the seniors are given the opportunity to donate for service as to their own ability.
